What we love most about Vail is it's truly a walking town and the public transportation is free and easy! If you plan to stay in Vail a car is not necessary once you are there. If you are planning to do excursions while visiting, most companies provide transportation.

For guests staying in the town of Vail, the resort offers a complimentary bus system in-town between Lionshead Village and Vail Village. Operational hours vary. Buses typically run every 5 to 10 minutes between stops. Please visit the Town of Vail website for up-to-date bus schedule information.
Most nonstop flight options from all over the country are into Denver International Airport (DEN). ​The Vail Eagle County (EGE) airport is small but very convenient - however most cities do not offer a direct flight in the summer so you would have to connect to fly into Vail.​

**Travel Tip: Please keep in mind if you are driving back to the Denver airport on Sunday, traffic will be heavy in the afternoon from the weekend visitors heading down the mountain. We recommend leaving for Denver before traffic picks up (which usually happens around 11am) and planning your departure time accordingly.**
If you are flying into Denver International Airport (DEN) you can rent a car and take the beautiful and scenic 2.5-hour drive through the Rocky Mountains. There are also shuttle services (our recommendation is Epic Mountain Express) that give good group rates and will take you from DEN to Vail (and back!)

If you are flying into Vail Eagle County (EGE) airport many of the local hotels have free public shuttle services that can take you directly to where you are staying.

You can also take Ubers around town. There are private car services available if you aren't comfortable driving in the mountains. ​
Our reception will take place outside the Arrabelle. We have discounted lodging at The Arrabelle at Vail Square, Ritz Carlton Residence Vail and The Lodge at Vail (which applies to 3 days before & after the wedding date if you're hoping to make a trip!)
